Why I built MyEventOS
Hi, I'm Meitale. I built MyEventOS after planning my own wedding.
I wanted a digital invitation that looked beautiful, and a simple way to collect RSVPs and keep track of our guests, all in one place. I couldn't find it.
The tool I ended up using took me a long time to make something that looked good, and even then it was very minimal. It had features for guests, but they were so complicated that I didn't use them. And the pricing was in digital coins: I never knew how many to buy, and I still have digital coins left over that I will never use.
So I built the one I wished I'd had.
- Invitations that look beautiful from the first tap, in English, Greek, Hebrew, German or Russian.
- Replies and the guest list in one place, simple enough to actually use: who is coming, meals, allergies, seating and gifts.
- Pricing that's easy to understand: one-time prices per event. No digital coins, no subscriptions.
It is made especially for destination weddings, where guests travel from different countries and read different languages. You can ask every guest about their flight, where they are staying and whether they need a pickup, and see all their answers in one list. MyEventOS does not book travel; it keeps track of your guests' plans for you.
