Digital wedding invitations with RSVP: the main sites compared
8 min read
Every one of these sites says it is the best. Here is what each actually does for a wedding, what about a hundred guests costs, and where each falls short, read from their own pricing pages and help centres on 18 October 2026. We make MyEventOS, so read our row knowing that; we have tried to be as fair to the others as to ourselves.

Prices are as each site showed them on 18 October 2026, in the currency it showed. Greenvelope showed euros to a visitor from Cyprus; the others showed US dollars.
Greenvelope: the envelope, priced by the person
Greenvelope is the closest thing to a paper invitation online: an animated envelope with a liner and a stamp comes with every mailing, there are no ads, and RSVP reminders, a seating chart and a QR code for print are included. You pay once per mailing by the number of people on it, and every person counts, so a family of four is four: €99 for a hundred. It has no wedding website of its own.
Paperless Post: the event page, paid in Coins
Paperless Post's event page works as a small wedding website, with blocks for the schedule, travel and the registry, and its reminder messages cost nothing extra. Its price is per guest in Coins, in US dollars, pounds or Australian dollars, and on a shareable link replies beyond the number you paid for stay hidden until you pay for them. Most non-Roman scripts are not supported, so Greek and Russian are not self-serve.
Evite: generous for free, built for parties
Evite is free up to 750 guests and keeps a Maybe answer and automatic reminders, but the free version carries ads and gift suggestions, the envelope and animation are Premium, texting reaches only US and Canadian numbers, and there is no wedding website or seating. It reads as a party tool more than a wedding one.
Joy, Zola and Minted: the free website
Joy gives a free wedding website with RSVPs and free basic digital cards, with premium cards and texting as paid extras; its shop and texting are mostly for North America. Zola and Minted also give a free website and earn from registries and printed stationery, but neither sends a digital wedding invitation: Zola's own FAQ says it does not offer one, and Minted's free online invitations cover parties and engagements, not weddings.
Greetings Island: cheap, with ads unless you pay
Greetings Island is the least expensive way to send a designed invitation with an RSVP page: free with a watermark and ads, or a monthly or yearly subscription to remove them. There is no wedding website or seating, and its RSVP pages expire after a year.
Where MyEventOS stands
MyEventOS is one price per event, in euros: sending to any number of guests is free, the first ten replies are counted free, and All-in (€109 with any drawn design, €79 for replies to printed cards) brings unlimited replies, email reminders, the gift list, the seating plan and the wedding planner. Each drawn design opens from its own envelope, and every invitation can be written in English, Greek, Hebrew (right to left), German or Russian, each guest reading their own.
What it does not do: send text messages (invitations go by WhatsApp, email, one link or a QR code), sell a registry, or remove its small mark below the Atelier.
Questions worth asking any site
- What does my whole list cost, partners and children included, and is it paid once or every month?
- What happens to replies above the number I paid for?
- Are reminders to guests who have not answered included?
- Can guests reply without an app or an account?
- Can the invitation be written in my guests' languages?
- Can I change it after it is sent?
- Whose logo is on it, and can it come off?

Collect the answers while you are at it
MyEventOS turns the invitation, the RSVP and the guest list into one link, and counts the replies as they land. Free to design, free to send, and the first ten replies are included.
