MyEventOS or Greenvelope: two ways to send a wedding invitation online
5 min read
Greenvelope and MyEventOS are the two that feel most like a paper invitation arriving: an envelope first, then the card. They differ in how you pay, how invitations travel, and what comes with them. This is how they compare for a wedding, from Greenvelope's own pages on 18 October 2026; we make MyEventOS.
Price
Greenvelope charges once per mailing, by the number of people on it, and every person counts: shown to a visitor from Cyprus in October 2026, 100 people cost €99, 120 cost €119. A membership with unlimited mailings is €125 a year for up to 50 people a mailing, or €225 for 150.
MyEventOS charges once per event, whatever the size of the list. Sending to every guest is free and the first ten replies are counted free; All-in is €109 with any drawn design, or €79 for replies to cards you have printed, with unlimited replies, reminders, the gift list, the seating plan and the planner.
The envelope and the designs
Greenvelope's animated envelope, with its liner, stamp and music, comes with every mailing, and can be turned off. MyEventOS's drawn designs are composed page by page: the envelope (some open on a film), the invitation, a love story in photographs, the day hour by hour, a countdown, the place with its map, the dress code, gifts and the reply.

How invitations travel
Greenvelope sends by email, and by text message in the countries it supports (Cyprus and Greece are not among those listed), with a personal link for WhatsApp, a shareable link and a QR code. MyEventOS sends one link for everyone, a personal link to each guest by WhatsApp or email, and a QR code for print; it sends no text messages.
Languages
Greenvelope's buttons and headings come in English, Spanish, German, French or Dutch, and you write the card's words yourself. MyEventOS writes each drawn design in English, Greek, Hebrew, German or Russian, Hebrew right to left, and each guest chooses the language they read.
Planning
Greenvelope has no to do list, budget or suppliers. MyEventOS has a wedding planner beside the invitation: a to do list dated from your day, a budget, your suppliers and their offers, and the timeline of the day, free for seven days and part of All-in.
Which to choose
- Greenvelope, if your list is small, you want text messages to guests in the US or the UK, or you want a membership for many events a year.
- MyEventOS, if your list is large, your guests read Greek, Hebrew, German or Russian, you want the planner and the website pages with the invitation, or you prefer one price for the whole event.
Collect the answers while you are at it
MyEventOS turns the invitation, the RSVP and the guest list into one link, and counts the replies as they land. Free to design, free to send, and the first ten replies are included.
