Terms of service

MyEventOS lets you design an invitation, ask your guests questions, send the invitation by email or link, and manage the replies. Everything is priced per event; there is no subscription.

You need an account to build an event, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 16 to open one. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. One person, one account: don't share credentials.

Creating an event, designing an invitation and adding website sections is free, and free events accept up to 10 guest replies. The planner is free for its first 7 days. Beyond that, an event can have the planner, All-in (unlimited replies, email reminders, a claimable gift list, the seating plan and the planner, with a premium design or for replies only), or an Atelier design made for it alone. Every invitation carries a small Made with MyEventOS mark, except an Atelier design. Prices are shown in euro before you pay, each purchase is paid once and applies to one event, and moving up to a larger plan costs only the difference.

Payments are handled by Stripe. What you buy unlocks as soon as the payment succeeds, which under EU consumer law means you are asking for immediate delivery of digital content and giving up the fourteen-day right of withdrawal once it is delivered.

That said, if something doesn't work as described, write to support@myeventos.com and we will put it right or refund you.

• Send invitations to people who have not agreed to hear from you. Your guest list must be your own.
• Upload artwork or photographs you have no right to use.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or abusive, or to collect payments from your guests under false pretences.
• Attempt to break, overload or probe the service, or work around its limits.

We can suspend an account that does these things, and we will tell you why.

Your invitations, wording, photographs and guest lists remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, display it to the guests you invite, and include it in the emails you ask us to send. Our templates and artwork remain ours, and you may use them within your invitations but not resell them as artwork.

When you upload a guest list, you are the one deciding what happens to those people's details, and you confirm you have a proper basis for inviting them. We process that data on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy.

We work to keep MyEventOS running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. Where a paid feature is unusable for a meaningful period, tell us and we will make it right.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to what you paid for that event. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

You can stop using MyEventOS whenever you like and delete your account from the account menu, or ask us to. We may close an account that breaches these terms. Purchases already delivered are not refunded on closure, except as described above.

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.

We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use MyEventOS after a change means accepting it.
